Alejandra
Originally from Ecuadaor, and after growing up in Barcelona, Alejandra moved to London and has been living here for over 10 years. She has been a photographer since 2006 and specialises in weddings, as well as family photography, including newborn, children and pet photography.
“It is important for me to give quality photos that will be treasured for generations. I therefore aim to offer a timeless style, capturing the raw intimacy and emotions between my subjects. I use natural posing where possible, and natural light. I suggest some simple posing to help guide and relax the couple and their guests. I try my best to be invisible, offering a photojournalistic style to the shoot. I see the wedding day as a story, with different chapters. While the main focus will always be on the bride and groom, I love being invisible and capturing the small details - shooting the reactions of the closest family members, and the little ones playing amongst the adults, I love to capture the elements of the wedding that make the day unique, such as the steam punk wedding dress, or shooting a wedding in a remote, sweet Spanish town that had a population of only 30!” - Alejandra
